- What is MIX?
- Mix is the most commercial and radio-friendly part of the voice. Mix is the quality that Brett has been instilled in so many platinum selling, Grammy-winning artists and other fantastic, commercially successful singers. In order to have a great career, you have to find the best part of your voice. The best part of the voice is that blended area where you create the overlapping of two qualities, head and chest voice. The mix is what helps recording artists get record deals, what’s “wow-ing” audiences and what moves them because they have control, emotion and freedom.
- What is the difference between Mastering Mix and the flagship Singing Success Program?
- Singing Success works on virtually every area of the voice including range extension, super crazy low-range, super crazy high-range, getting into your whistle and singing with ease. Mastering Mix focuses on the MIX only. It seeks to develop a system of understanding and mastering the most complex area of training the voice. It eliminates the frustration, normalizes the mix, removes the breaks, & removes all misunderstanding regarding the mix. M.M. deepens the understanding of the colors, textures, and other facets of the mix and combines these aspects to create the most commercial sound. Most singers don’t know what their mix is. M.M. seeks to answer the questions, remove the mystery and provide you the element of vocal mastery.
- Will M.M. work for me if I haven't already been using the Singing Success Program?
- M.M. will be a breeze if you have had 1-on-1 training or studied a workout program in-depth but you must have a foundation for singing. If you’ve never used a workout program, this could be very difficult for you. If you haven’t had prior training, M.M. would still be effective, but don’t do this to yourself. Purchase Singing Success, master it and then purchase Mastering Mix.
- Are the same exercises from S.S. included in M.M. or is it all new content?
- Yes and Yes. Some exercises are similar to S.S. but now these exercises are applied to finding and mastering your MIX. S.S. was designed to balance your voice and create an overall approach to good singing. M.M. is designed to develop certain areas of your mix. The scales are different, the ranges are different, the demonstrations are superior and many exercises are brand new.
- How will M.M. make me a better singer?
- M.M. will make you a better singer by finally perfecting and normalizing the most difficult and abnormal part of the voice. The place where the voice jams up or shifts in quality or flips into falsetto or strains to find the mix. M.M. helps you find the mix and make it as easy as speaking. The mix voice is the overlapping area and levels out the overlap so your voice is one even voice from top to bottom removing any fear and trepidation in your singing!

Mastering Mix
The Mix is the most elusive part of the voice. It creates a smooth transition between the chest voice (bottom) and the head voice (top) which enables singers to reach their full potential. Ninety percent of singers experience some kind of break-flip or disconnect between these two qualities.
